Joust (arcade/multi): Sometimes more is less, and that is illustrated no better than in this all time classic from Williams. You have three controls - left, right, and the bizarely named "Flap". You fly atop an ostrich attempting to knock evil knights off their vultures. Great in one player mode, even better in two player mode, Joust is still awesome today, especially if you give it a go on the Playstation or the Saturn. If I were to introduce someone to videogames who had never played one before, I would have them play Joust. Two player, of course! Memorable moment: Joust (arcade/multi): Defeating the "unbeatable?" pterodactyl. |
