Secret of Monkey Island (Atari ST, Amiga, PC) - A graphic adventure that was (get this) funny. Not, "oh look, the character is tapping his foot at me" funny, but laugh outloud, call your friends and tell them what happened funny. Guybrush Threepwood wants to be a pirate, but he gets no respect nor help from the real pirates. Full of ludicrous statements you can tell others in the game ("I want to be a fireman!"), it's all about humor. Memorable moment: Buying my nephew this game 6 years after its release and watching him play it more than Quake, Warcraft II, or any recent game. |
