Touken Retsuden (New Japan Pro Wrestling) Series (Import Sony Playstation) - As a huge pro wrestling fan, it gets no better than this game, currently only available as an import from Japan. The smoothest graphics and animation yet seen (the shot to the left is an IN GAME shot - not FMV!) and 20+ characters are simply window dressing for the game's strongest point - superb gameplay. Moves are NOT based on odd half circle motions, but rather on a single button press and where you are in location as opposed to your opponent and the state he is in. A game that all fighting game designers should be required to play. Memorable moment: Hitting your first Asai moonsault (backflip to the floor). |
