Q*Bert (Arcade): A very quirky title in which you play an orange armless creature with a big nose who must change the colors of a pseudo-3D pyramid. Sound weird? It is! But it's also a lot of fun. I've been playing this one for a LOOOOONG time (about 20 years!), and I have yet to tire of it. The new Playstation version isn't bad, but to be honest, I'd take the classic arcade machine (playable on the MAME) over it any day. If there was ever a game that defines the word "fun", it's this one! Memorable moment: The Atari ST clone "Fuzzball" that replaced Q*Bert's fictional profanity with REAL profanity! |
